Film editor who entered American film with WANDERER OF THE WASTELAND (1935) at Paramount. He cut a number of minor features at the studio until America's entry into World War II. During the war years, he edited Paramount's series of "Henry Aldrich" films. His post-WW II credits include THE VIRGINIAN (1946), SWEET AND LOW (1947), THE SAINTED SISTERS (1948), MR. MUSIC (1950), WAR OF THE WORLDS and JENNIFER (both 1953), THE NAKED JUNGLE (1954), CONQUEST OF SPACE (1955), THE SCARLET HOUR (1956), OMAR KHAYYAM and THE JOKER IS WILD (both 1957), THE PARTY CRASHERS (1958), THE TRAP and his last film, THE JAYHAWKERS! (both 1959). He was also cinematographer for Charles Vidor's THUNDER IN THE EAST (1952).
