Born in New York City. Writer who began with the American TV series "Private Secretary" (a.k.a. "Suzie") in 1953. Screen credits (alone or in collaboration) include FUNNY FACE and SILK STOCKINGS (both 1957), BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE (1972, also play), 40 CARATS (1973) and the narration for THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT, PART II (1976). He was also an additional songwriter (composer and lyricist) for FUNNY FACE.
