Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959)
Began working with special photographic effects on THE ROBE (1953, uncredited). Other notable non-nominated special effects credits include THE FLY (1958, uncredited), HOLIDAY FOR LOVERS and THE BLUE ANGEL (both 1959), THE LOST WORLD and FROM THE TERRACE (both 1960), THE MASK (1961), HAWAII (1966) and his last film, AIRPORT (1970).

Gordon also contributed photographic effects to IT'S A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD (1963), THE GREAT RACE (1965) and WHAT DID YOU DO IN THE WAR, DADDY? (1966).
