Set decorator for over 165 Hollywood films and TV series who entered American film as an uncredited set decorator for Clarence Brown's THE GORGEOUS HUSSY (1936) at MGM. Among his notable non-nominated credits at the studio over the next 34 years are DU BARRY WAS A LADY (1943), THE SWAN (1956), DESIGNING WOMAN (1957), CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF (1958), THE TIME MACHINE (1960), SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH (1962), 7 FACES OF DR. LAO (1964), THE ROUNDERS (1965), THE CINCINNATI KID (1965), ICE STATION ZEBRA (1968), THE GYPSY MOTHS (1969) and his last film, THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH (1970).
