Set decorator who entered American film with THE PERFECT MARRIAGE (1947) at Paramount. Some of her notable non-nominated film credits in her career at the studio include GOLDEN EARRINGS (also 1947), MY FRIEND IRMA (1949), ELEPHANT WALK and WHITE CHRISTMAS (both 1954), THE BRIDGES AT TOKO-RI, WE'RE NO ANGELS and THE DESPERATE HOURS (all 1955), ANYTHING GOES and THE SEARCH FOR BRIDEY MURPHY (both 1956), THE JOKER IS WILD (1957), HOUSEBOAT, MARACAIBO and THE COLOSSUS OF NEW YORK (all 1958), THE FIVE PENNIES and LI'L ABNER (both 1959), HELLER IN PINK TIGHTS (1960) and MY SIX LOVES (1963). LOVE WITH THE PROPER STRANGER (also 1963) was her last film.
