In 1941, Meador began working with visual and special effects animation. Notable credits in those areas include THE RELUCTANT DRAGON (1941), THE THREE CABALLEROS (1945), SONG OF THE SOUTH (1946), MELODY TIME (1948), SO DEAR TO MY HEART (1949), CINDERELLA (1950), ALICE IN WONDERLAND (1951), PETER PAN (1953), 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA (1954), LAKE TITICACA (1955), FORBIDDEN PLANET (1956), WHITE WILDERNESS (1958), SLEEPING BEAUTY (1959) and THE ABSENT MINDED PROFESSOR (1961).
