Other notable animation credits include SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS (also 1937), PINOCCHIO adn FANTASIA (both 1940), DUMBO (1941), BAMBI (1942), VICTORY THROUGH AIR POWER (1943), DONALD CRIME and OLD SEQUOIA (both 1945), PECOS BILL and SOUP'S ON (both 1948), BEAR COUNTRY (1953), MEN AGAINST THE ARCTIC (1955), SECRETS OF LIFE (1956), DONALD IN MATHMAGIC LAND and DARBY O'GILL AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE (both 1959), THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER (1962, TV) and MICKEY MOUSE DISCO (1979).
In 1941, Meador began working with visual and special effects animation. Notable credits in those areas include THE RELUCTANT DRAGON (1941), THE THREE CABALLEROS (1945), SONG OF THE SOUTH (1946), MELODY TIME (1948), SO DEAR TO MY HEART (1949), CINDERELLA (1950), ALICE IN WONDERLAND (1951), PETER PAN (1953), 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA (1954), LAKE TITICACA (1955), FORBIDDEN PLANET (1956), WHITE WILDERNESS (1958), SLEEPING BEAUTY (1959) and THE ABSENT MINDED PROFESSOR (1961). He directed segments of the 1946 Disney animated feature MAKE MINE MUSIC, which won the award for Best Animation Design at the 1946 Cannes Film Festival.
