Forbidden Planet (1956) Born in Haverhill, MA. Recording supervisor who entered American film as an uncredited sound technician for THE BROADWAY MELODY (1929) at MGM. There is a large gap in his credits until 1953, when he was again uncredited -- this time as a sound recordist for ARENA. He became a recording supervisor at MGM in 1954, and some his subsequent unnominated credits include ROGUE COP, THE LAST TIME I SAW PARIS, DEEP IN MY HEART and STRAUSS FANTASY (all 1954), BAD DAY A BLACK ROCK, KISMET and I'LL CRY TOMORROW (all 1955), MEET ME IN LAS VEGAS, INVITATION TO THE DANCE, SOMEBODY UP THERE LIKES ME, HIGH SOCIETY, LUST FOR LIFE, THE POWER AND THE PRIZE and TEAHOUSE OF THE AUGUST MOON (all 1956), THE WINGS OF EAGLES, SOMETHING OF VALUE, DESIGNING WOMAN, SILK STOCKINGS, RAINTREE COUNTY and DON'T GO NEAR THE WATER (all 1957), THE BROTHERS KARAMAZOV, THE SHEEPMAN, GIGI, CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, TORPEDO RUN, PARTY GIRL and THE TUNNEL OF LOVE (all 1958).
