His story- and screenwriting credits include THE STRATTON STORY (1949), JIM THORPE -- ALL-AMERICAN (1951), TROUBLE ALONG THE WAY (1953), BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT (1956) and MAURIE (1973, also producer). He wrote for the TV series "The Virginian," "The Big Valley" and "The Governor & J.J."
