Born in Asnières-sur-Seine, France. Collaborated on screenplays, adaptations, and dialogue of many French films, notably for Max Ophüls: DE MAYERLING À SARAJEVO (1940), LA RONDE (1950), LE PLAISIR (1952) and LOLA MONTÉS (1955). Other notable credits include INCOGNITO (1933), MOSCOW NIGHTS (1934, dialogue), LES YEUX NOIRS (1935, "Dark Eyes"), UNDER SECRET ORDERS (1937), SÉRÉNADE AUX NUAGES (1945, "Song of the Clouds") and AGNÈS DE RIEN and RENDEZ-VOUS AVEC LA CHANCE (both 1949).
In the 1930s, Natanson directed four films: LA FUSÉE (1933), MAÎTRE BOLBEC ET SON MARI (1934), LE CLOWN BUX (1935) and LES GAIS LURONS (also dialogue, 1936).
