Liam O'Brien

Here Comes the Groom (1951) Born William O'Brien in New York City; brother of actor Edmond O'Brien. Screenwriter and producer of films and television programs. Screen credits (alone or in collaboration) include CHAIN LIGHTNING (1950), OF MEN AND MUSIC (Artur Rubenstein sequence), THE REDHEAD AND THE COWBOY and HERE COMES THE GROOM (all 1951), DIPLOMATIC COURIER (1952), THE STARS ARE SINGING (1953), YOUNG AT HEART (1955), TRAPEZE (1956), THE REMARKABLE MR. PENNYPACKER (1959, play), THE GREAT IMPOSTOR and THE DEVIL AT 4 O'CLOCK (both 1961). He wrote for the TV series "Police Story" (also producer) and the mini-series "The Awakening Land." He also produced "The Mississippi" and "Miami Vice."
