Born in Cedarville, OH. Sultry leading lady of the 1940s and 50s, probably best known as the innocent turned hardened con in CAGED (1950) and as Kirk Douglas's neglected wife in DETECTIVE STORY (1951). Parker continued to appear in secondary roles through the 1980s. Parker's first husband (1946-1953) was producer Bert Friedlob. Her son from her third marriage is actor Fred Clemens (b. 1958). Parker lives in quiet retirement in Palm Springs, California.
