Bernard C. Schoenfeld
(1907 - 1990)

Caged (1950) Story and screen writer who entered American film with Robert Siodmak's PHANTOM LADY (1944) at Universal. Working mainly in television from 1958, some of his other notable screen credits (alone or in collaboration) include THE DARK CORNER (1946), CAGED (1950), MACAO (1952), DOWN THREE DARK STREETS (1954), THERE'S ALWAYS TOMORROW (1956), THE SPACE CHILDREN (1958), THE MAGIC SWORD and 13 WEST STREET (both 1962) and his last film, I CINQUE DELLA VENDETTA (a.k.a. "Five for Revenge," 1968). TV credits include episodes of "Lawman," "The Twilight Zone," "Combat!" and "Mannix."
