Born in Gastonia, NC. Writer who entered American film with IT GROWS ON TREES (1952) at Universal-International. His abbreviated screen credits include IT HAPPENS EVERY THURSDAY and MISTER SCOUTMASTER (both 1953), GORILLA AT LARGE (1954), THREE VIOLENT PEOPLE (1956), THE TIN STAR (1957) and CAHILL U.S. MARSHALL (1973).
