Miles White
(1914 - 2000)

Born in Oakland, California. Designer of the original Broadway productions of Oklahoma! and Carousel. Awarded a 1951 Tony® Award for costuming the play Bless You All. Other than his three Oscar®-nominated films, he only designed costumes for two other Hollywood pictures, both Danny Kaye vehicles: UP IN ARMS (1944) and THE KID FROM BROOKLYN (1946).
