Detective Story (1951)

Born in Mülhausen, Alsace, Germany (now Mulhouse, France); nephew of Carl Laemmle, brother of director William Wyler (and often acted as associate producer on his films). Other writing credits include THE BIG COUNTRY (adaptation, 1958). Associate producer on THE HEIRESS (1949); DETECTIVE STORY (1951); ROMAN HOLIDAY (1953); THE DESPERATE HOURS (1955); FRIENDLY PERSUASION (1956); THE BIG COUNTRY (1958); and THE CHILDREN'S HOUR (1961).
