Born in Brooklyn, NY. Responsible for writing, producing and directing many of the MGM compilation shorts and feature releases during the 1950s and 60s: I REMEMBER WHEN (1954), WHEN THE TALKIES WERE YOUNG (1955), MAGIC MOVIE MOMENTS (1956), THE GOLDEN AGE OF COMEDY (1957), WHEN COMEDY WAS KING (1960), THE BIG PARADE OF COMEDY (1964), LAUREL AND HARDY'S LAUGHING 20'S (1965), FURTHER PERILS OF LAUREL AND HARDY (1968) and 4 CLOWNS (1970).
