Henry Berman
(1914 - 1979)

Born in New Castle, PA; brother of producer Pandro S. Berman. Started cutting films at RKO in 1936 with FOLLOW THE FLEET and SWING TIME. Other notable (non-nominated) credits include QUALITY STREET, 1937; VIVACIOUS LADY and GUNGA DIN, both 1938; KITTY FOYLE, 1940; SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH, 1962; THE FIXER, 1968; ELVIS: THAT'S THE WAY IT IS and TELL ME THAT YOU LOVE ME, JUNIE MOON, both 1970. He then moved into television movies and series until his retirement in 1977.
