Ralph W. Brinton
(1895 - 1975)

Born in England; trained as an architect. Started in British films as art director, then production designer, in 1936. Art director on such features as ODD MAN OUT, 1947; SCROOGE, 1951; THE MASTER OF BALLANTRAE, 1953; MOBY DICK, 1956; ROOM AT THE TOP, 1959; and THE ENTERTAINER, 1960. Production designer on A TASTE OF HONEY, 1961; THE LONELINESS OF THE LONG DISTANCE RUNNER, 1962; and TOM JONES, 1963, after which he retired.
