Born in Minnesota, USA. Worked at Warner Bros. and, starting in 1940, edited almost 200 Looneytunes cartoons, many of which were nominated for or won Academy Awards. Blake Edwards used Brown's cartoon editing experience to create and edit the sound effects for THE GREAT RACE (1965), and Brown's work won him an Oscar®. His last recorded project was the TV series "The Bugs Bunny/Looney Tunes Comedy Hour" (1985), although his work continues to be seen on Warner Bros. shows that feature classic cartoons.  Sound Effects 1965: THE GREAT RACE 1 nomination, 1 Award
