Notable design credits include ATTILA, 1954; TRAPEZE, 1956; A FAREWELL TO ARMS, 1957; EL CID, 1961 (also production designer & set decorator); 55 DAYS AT PEKING, 1963 (also production designer & set decorator); and THE FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE, 1964 (also production designer & set decorator). Retired from films in 1984.
