Gordon Daniel

Grand Prix (1966) Entered British films as dubbing editor for VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED (1960). Later moved to Hollywood. Worked as sound editor and/or sound editing supervisor on these notable (non-nominated) films: A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, 1964; FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD, 1967; PAPILLON, 1973; THE LONGEST YARD, 1974; THE CHOIRBOYS, 1977; 10, THE JERK and HARDCORE, all 1979; TAPS, 1981; THE TERMINATOR, 1984; NATIONAL LAMPOON'S EUROPEAN VACATION, 1985; PLATOON, 1986; and WALL STREET, 1987. He retired from films in 1988 after editing the sound for GOR and supervising the sound editing on POLICE ACADEMY 5: ASSIGNMENT: MIAMI BEACH.
