Hud (1963)

In films from the late 1940s, she often worked in collaboration with her husband, Irving Ravetch. Two of their scripts, HUD (1963) and NORMA RAE (1979), were nominated for Academy Awards. They also collaborated on THE LONG, HOT SUMMER (1958), THE DARK AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS (1960), HOMBRE (1967), THE COWBOYS (1972), MURPHY'S ROMANCE (1985) and STANLEY & IRIS (1990).  Nominated for Writing (Best Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium) 1963: HUD (w.
