Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971)
Set decorator for many Disney films and TV series from the mid-1950s to the mid-70s. He then moved to other production studios. Notable (non-nominated) credits include THE PARENT TRAP (1961), BON VOYAGE! (1962), SON OF FLUBBER (1963), THAT DARN CAT! (1965), BLACKBEARD'S GHOST (1968), THE LOVE BUG (1968), THE COMPUTER WORE TENNIS SHOES (1969), THE MILLION DOLLAR DUCK (1971), THE BISCUIT EATER (1972), ESCAPE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN (1975), GABLE AND LOMBARD (1976), MacARTHUR (1977), ANIMAL HOUSE and SAME TIME, NEXT YEAR (both 1978), THE BLUES BROTHERS (1980), RAGGEDY MAN (1981), THE STING II, D.C. CAB and DOCTOR DETROIT (all 1983), CLOAK & DAGGER (1984), BACK TO THE FUTURE (1985) and JAWS: THE REVENGE (1987). Gausman also worked on many television series and made-for-TV mobies. He retired in 1988.
