Irving Jacoby
(1909 - 1985)

Born in New York City. Also wrote the shorts ANGRY BOY (1950) and THE PHOTOGRAPHER (1948). Produced the NFB Canadian short HIGH OVER THE BORDERS (1942) and the 1950 shorts CHOOSING FOR HAPPINESS and THIS CHARMING COUPLE. Wrote, produced and directed the fact/fiction documentary THE LONELY NIGHT (1954) for the US Public Health Service, as well as the feature film SNOW TREASURE (1967).
