Worked in the Disney special effects department from the early 1950s through the early 1970s. Notable credits include his first film, KOREA PATROL (1951), and 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA (1954), THE ABSENTMINDED PROFESSOR and BABES IN TOYLAND (both 1961), SON OF FLUBBER (1963), MARY POPPINS (1964), BLACKBEARD'S GHOST, THE LOST CONTINENT and THE LOVE BUG (all 1968), THE WILD COUNTRY and THE BOATNIKS (both 1970), and SCANDALOUS JOHN (1971).
