The Best of Everything (1959) Born in Santa Ana, CA. She started designing costumes for film with Republic's Sam Houston biopic MAN OF CONQUEST (1939), starring Richard Dix. She remained at the studio as designer and wardrobe supervisor for almost 20 years, amassing over 200 pictures to her credits. When Republic abandoned feature films and started producing for television, she began freelancing and designed costumes for such films as PEYTON PLACE (1957), THE LONG, HOT SUMMER (1958), and THE SOUND AND THE FURY, COMPULSION, SAY ONE FOR ME, HOUND-DOG MAN and THE FBI STORY (all 1959).
