Started out as an uncredited set dresser in British films in 1949. Set dressing credits include THE PRINCE AND THE SHOWGIRL (1957) and EXODUS (1960, also set decorator). As set decorator, Simoni's credits include THAT DANGEROUS AGE and THE THIRD MAN (uncredited) (both 1949), THE MAGIC BOX (1951, uncredited), CHECKPOINT (1956), JOHN PAUL JONES and SOLOMON AND SHEBA (both 1959), DOCTOR FAUSTUS (1967), THE MADWOMAN OF CHAILLOT (1969), THE KREMLIN LETTER (1970), and his last film, TRAVELS WITH MY AUNT (1972).
