John Stoll

Born in London. In British films from the mid-40s, he became established in the 60s as on of England's leading motion picture designers, particularly after his work on LAWRENCE OF ARABIA (1962), for which he shared an Academy Award with John Box. His later work included THE COLLECTOR (1965), CROMWELL (1970), THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD (1973) and his last film, SHIRLEY VALENTINE (1989).
