Operation Petticoat (1959)

Born in Carstairs, Alberta, Canada. A boxer and boxing referee, he turned to screenwriting in 1956 at Universal-International with the story for WORLD IN MY CORNER, which starred Audie Murphy. His only other screenplay (besides OPERATION PETTICOAT) was for another U-I release, WILD HERITAGE (1958), a frontier epic with Will Rogers Jr., and Maureen O'Sullivan.  Nominated for Writing (Best Story and Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen) 1959: OPERATION PETTICOAT (w.
