The Odd Couple (1968) Born in Idaho, USA. Film editor for Hollywood pictures who started at Paramount in 1942 (WAKE ISLAND), where he became one of their top editors and remained until 1971. Other notable credits include THE MATING SEASON (1951), WHITE CHRISTMAS (1954), ANYTHING GOES (1956), FUNNY FACE and THE HELEN MORGAN STORY (both 1957), DAMN YANKEES and HOUSEBOAT (both 1958), VISIT TO A SMALL PLANET, IT STARTED IN NAPLES and THE FACTS OF LIFE (all 1960), THE PIGEON THAT TOOK ROME (1962), HUD and A NEW KIND OF LOVE (both 1963), THE CARPETBAGGERS (1964), HARLOW (1965), NEVADA SMITH and HOMBRE (both 1967), THE MOLLY MAGUIRES (1970), PLAZA SUITE and STAR SPANGLED GIRL (both 1971), PETE 'N' TILLIE (1972), CONRACK (1974), MANDINGO (1975), THE DUCHESS AND THE DIRTWATER FOX, GOIN' COCONUTS and SOMETHING SHORT OF PARADISE (aka "Perfect Love") (1979), and SOGGY BOTTOM, USA and his last project, the made-for-TV movie "Gideon's Trumpet" (both 1980).
