Production designer who started in American films as art director for CHINATOWN. Other notable credits include SHAMPOO and THE FORTUNE (both 1975), JAWS 2 (1978), URBAN COWBOY (1980), TRUE CONFESSIONS (1981), SHOOT THE MOON (1982), THE RIGHT STUFF (1983) and BIRDY (1984). He then started working primarily as a production designer for made-for-TV movies and mini-series, including "Raid on Entebbe" (1977). Feature production design credits include THE RETURN OF A MAN CALLED HORSE (1976), INDEPENDENCE DAY (1983), MAC AND ME (1988), THE UNKNOWN CYCLIST (1998), and FELLINI'S DONUT (2005).
