Born in England, UK. With his partner, John Watson, he made the Canadian documentary THOROUGHBRED (1974), and the American feature THE ZOO GANG (1985). Then he worked again in Canada, directing THE KISS (1988). A partner in Trilogy Entertainment Group, Densham wrote and directed the feature MOLL FLANDERS (1996), starring Robin Wright, Morgan Freeman and Stockard Channing. For television, he engineered the rebirth of the award-winning sci-fi series "The Outer Limits," earning him a top-10 spot in Cinefantastique magazine's "50 Most Influential People in Science Fiction." With partners Richard Lewis and John Watson, Densham is the executive producer of "The Outer Limits, The Magnificent Seven" and "Poltergeist: The Legacy." He executive-produced TNT's "Buffalo Soldiers" (1997) and the miniseries "Peter Benchley's Creature" and the made-for-TV movies "The Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3", "Mr. Headmistress" and "Houdini" (all 1998).
Densham wrote the original story and co-wrote the screenplay (with partner Watson) for the feature ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES (1991), starring Kevin Costner. He also wrote the original story for LARGER THAN LIFE (1996), starring Bill Murray. The Trilogy trio produced the features BACKDRAFT (1991), with Robert DeNiro, and BLOWN AWAY (1994), with Jeff Bridges. Recent film producing projects include THE DANGEROUS LIVES OF ALTAR BOYS (2002), TAJ MAHAL: AN ETERNAL LOVE STORY (2005), JUST BURIED, AN INFINITY OF MIRRORS, I AM CHARLOTTE SIMMONS, THE LAST FULL MEASURE and RACING IN THE STREETS (all 2007), and MONSTER (announced for 2009).
