Robert DeVestel

Started as a set decorator on television for the TV series "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" (1964) and "Batman" (1966). He moved into feature films in 1968 with FOR SINGLES ONLY. Other notable (non-nominated) set decorating credits include DIRTY HARRY (1971), NECROMANCY (1972), BATTLE FOR PLANET OF THE APES (1973), UPTOWN SATURDAY NIGHT, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN and HUCKLEBERRY FINN (all 1974), THE REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD (1975), ST. IVES (1976), NEW YORK, NEW YORK (1977), DAMIEN: OMEN II, WHO'LL STOP THE RAIN and EVERY WHICH WAY BUT LOOSE (all 1978), THE IN-LAWS (1979) and THE JAZZ SINGER (1980). Then he finished his career back in TV-land: "Magnum, P.I." (1980-1988), "Hollywood Wives" (1985, mini-series), and the made-for-TV movie "Alice in Wonderland" (1985).
