American editor who worked primarily in television. (JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL is his only recorded feature film credit.) TV series include "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C." (1964), "Mayberry R.F.D." (1968), "Lou Grant" (1977), "Remington Steele" (1982); he edited many made-for-TV movies and mini-series, including "Celebrity" and "Ellis Island" (both 1984), "Kane & Abel" (1985), and "Queen" (1993).
Galloway was nominated for 12 "Eddie" Awards by the ACE, winning for "Lou Grant" (1977), "The Taking of Flight 847: The Uli Derickson Story" (1988) and "Switched at Birth" (1991). He was also nominated seven times for an Emmy® between 1978 and 1993.
