David Zelag Goodman
Sometimes billed as David Z. Goodman

Lovers and Other Strangers (1970) American screenwriter who entered American film with THE STRANGLERS OF BOMBAY (1960, "in Stranglscope!"). He followed this with scripts for the TV series "The Untouchables" (1960-63), "Combat!" (1963) and "Mr. Broadway" (1964). Other screenwriting credits (alone or in collaboration) include LOVERS AND OTHER STRANGERS and MONTE WALSH (both 1970), STRAW DOGS (1971), MAN ON A SWING (1974), FAREWELL, MY LOVELY (1975), LOGAN'S RUN (1976), MARCH OR DIE (1977), EYES OF LAURA MARS (1978), FIGHTING BACK (1982) and his last film, MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD (1983). Goodman wrote teleplays for the made-for-TV movies "Freedom Road" (1979) and "Monte Walsh" (2003).
