Arthur Hamilton

Born in Seattle, WA. He and Ray Heindorf wrote the original music score for PETE KELLY'S BLUES (1955). Hamilton's songs for the film (music & lyrics) included "He Needs Me" and "Sing a Rainbow". Other notable song titles include "Bouquet of Blues", "Circle of Friends", "One Look", "Sing Me a Kern Song" and "You'll Remember Me". Hamilton's song "Cry Me a River", for which he wrote both words and music, was most recently used in 2005's V FOR VENDETTA. Past president of the Society of Composers and Lyricists.
