Mark Jonathan Harris

American documentary filmmaker whose credits include (as writer) the independent religious film COME THE MORNING (1993), THE LONG WAY HOME (1997, also director, produced by Rabbi Marvin Hier and Richard Trank and won the Oscar® for Best Feature Documentary), INTO THE ARMS OF STRANGERS: STORIES OF THE KINDERTRANSPORT (2000, also director), UNCHAINED MEMORIES: READINGS FROM THE SLAVE NARRATIVES (2003), THE CUTTING EDGE: THE MAGIC OF MOVIE EDITING (2004), and THE BOOMER CENTURY (2007). Harris produced THE HOMEFRONT (1985) and SPIRIT OF THE MARATHON (2007).
