Blazing Saddles (1974) Born in Los Angeles, CA. Started out cutting feature films in 1969 with BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID (w. Richard C. Meyer). Edited many of Mel Brooks' features, including BLAZING SADDLES and YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (both 1974), SILENT MOVIE (1976), HIGH ANXIETY (1977) and HISTORY OF THE WORLD: PART I (1981). Other credits include BELIEVE IN ME (1971), A SEPARATE PEACE (1972), Kirk Douglas' SCALAWAG (1973), THE DROWNING POOL (1975), MASTERMIND and Arthur Hiller's W.C. FIELDS AND ME with Rod Steiger and Valerie Perrine (both 1976), MARCH OR DIE (1977), NIGHTWING and AMERICATHON (both 1979), WHY WOULD I LIE? (1980), and his last film, Hiller's ROMANTIC COMEDY (1983) with Dudley Moore and Mary Steenburgen.
