Art director and production designed for Hollywood films who started out as assistant art director on THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE (1962) and HOW TO MURDER YOUR WIFE (1965). Other notable credits include: (As art director) THIS PROPERTY IS CONDEMNED (1966), BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID (1969), SOMETIMES A GREAT NOTION (1971), CONQUEST OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (1972, also prod. designer), WALKING TALL PART II (1975), ODE TO BILLY JOE (1976, also prod. designer) and NIGHT TRAIN (1978); (As production designer) OH, DAD, POOR DAD... and VALLEY OF THE DOLLS (both 1967), WUSA (1970), THE COWBOYS and EVERY LITTLE CROOK AND NANNY (both 1972), HUCKLEBERRY FINN (1974), DAMIEN: OMEN II and GREASE (both 1978), WHEN TIME RAN OUT (1980), CAVEMAN and FIRST MONDAY IN OCTOBER (both 1981), AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN and KISS ME GOODBYE (both 1982), MASS APPEAL (1984), THE MEAN SEASON (1985). He finished his career with two made-for-TV movies: "Alice in Wonderland" (1985) and "Act of Vengeance" (1986, HBO/Lorimar).
