L.A. (Larry) Johnson

Entered American film as a sound recordist and assistant to the producer on WOODSTOCK (1970). He worked sound during the 1970s (MARJOE, 1972, & RENALDO AND CLARA, 1978), and began producing and/or directing feature-length and short videos about rock musicians and their music: THE LAST WALTZ (1978), RUST NEVER SLEEPS (1979), SHADOWS AND LIGHT (1980), NEIL YOUNG: HUMAN HIGHWAY (1982), SOLO TRANS (1984), LIVE IN CONCERT BELINDA CARLISLE (1988), WELD (1990), LEAN BY JARRE (1993), YEAR OF THE HORSE (1997), NEIL YOUNG: SILVER AND GOLD (2000), LIVE FROM BONNAROO MUSIC FESTIVAL 2002 (2002) and GREENDALE (2003).
