Ronald S. Kass
(1935 - 1986)

Naked Yoga (1974)
Born in Philadelphia, PA. Entered British films as assistant producer of MELODY (1971), which was written by Alan Parker. He followed this as executive producer of THE OPTIMISTS (1973), starring Peter Sellers. In 1974, he produced NAKED YOGA, a 24-minute film in which three young ladies perform yoga without clothes in the open air of Cyprus. Another does the same in a studio. These visuals are interspersed with images of Eastern art, processed for "psychedelic" effect. The narrator relates the practice of yoga to Buddhist philosophy.

Kass' next project was producing THE STUD (1978), starring Joan Collins and written by sister Jackie Collins. And, since that combination worked so well, his final project was as executive producer of THE BITCH (1979), which starred Joan in another adaptation of one of Jackie's novels. Alas, this was the last time the sisters would work on the same film project.
