The Towering Inferno (1974)

Son of film editor Harold F. Kress (1913-1999). Started editing in the TV series "The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau" (1966). Moved to feature films in 1970 with THE LIBERATION OF L.B. JONES and WATERMELON MAN. Other notable editing credits include HOPSCOTCH (1980), LOOKER (1981), STROKER ACE (1983) and CANONBALL RUN II (1984). Since the mid-1980s, he has worked extensively in made-for-TV movies. Feature film work includes RAD (1986), BLOODSPORT (1988), MEET THE HOLLOWHEADS (1989), WEDLOCK (1991), BODILY HARM (1995), THE REDEMPTION (2000), THE MARRIAGE UNDONE (2002), and NIGHT TRAIN (scheduled for 2009 release).  Film Editing 1974: THE TOWERING INFERNO (w.
