Marc Merson

Producer of American films and television since 1967 whose credits include "Androcles and the Lion" (1967), which Peter Stone adapted from Shaw's play for NBC-TV; THE HEART IS A LONELY HUNTER (1968), starring Alan Arkin and Sondra Locke; PEOPLE SOUP (1969), written and directed by Alan Arkin from his short story, about two boys (one of whom was played by Arkin's 11-year-old son, Adam) who start experimenting with various kitchen ingredients, eventually creating a soup which enables them to turn into various animals and objects; LEADBELLY (1976) about the life of the blues & folk singer; the Ron Liebman-Patrick O'Neill TV series "Kaz" (1978-1979); and DOC HOLLYWOOD (1991, exec. producer), which starred Michael J. Fox. Merson is co-founder and president of Eco Expo, which produces large scale trade shows featuring environmentally friendly products and services.
