Manfred G. Michelson

President of Technical Film Systems Inc., a manufacturer of top of the line motion picture film laboratory equipment in Camarillo, CA. TFS was founded in 1984 and most of the manufactured equipment is aimed at the professional, high volume film laboratory.

 Scientific and Engineering Awards 1990: For the design and development of the first sprocket-driven film transport system for color print film processors which permits transport speeds in excess of 600 feet per minute.
 Academy Award of Merit 1993: For the design and development of the first sprocket-driven film transport system for color print film processors, which originally received a Scientific and Engineering Award in 1990.
