Love Story (1970)
Born in Philadelphia, PA. Minsky started out in Hollywood during the silent era, and carved out a long career as an executive at studios Fox and Paramount, later working as an artist agent for William Morris.

His most famous career achievement was taking LOVE STORY to the big screen in 1970, after Erich Segal's script had been rejected by most of Tinseltown. The movie, starring Ryan O'Neal and Ali MacGraw, became a massive hit, earning seven Academy Award® nominations.

Minsky went on to write his own love story, The Love of My Life which was published in 2007, about his 65-year marriage to wife Sylvia, who died in 2002.
