Born in California, USA. Music editor (1951 - 1963) and then film editor (1964 - 1987) in American films and television. Other notable credits include: (As music editor) "Sky King" (1951, TV series), FLAT TOP (1952), SOME LIKE IT HOT (1959), then a series of American-International thrillers like HOUSE OF USHER (1960), PIT AND THE PENDULUM (1961), TALES OF TERROR (1962), THE RAVEN and THE COMEDY OF TERRORS (both 1963); (As film editor) still at AIP, she started cutting features like MUSCLE BEACH PARTY and PAJAMA PARTY (both 1964), BEACH BLANKET BINGO, HOW TO STUFF A WILD BIKINI and DR. GOLDFOOT AND THE BIKINI MACHINE (all 1965), and BLOODY MAMA (1970); in 1975 she moved to Filmways/Universal and started her more serious work: THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN (1975), PARADISE ALLEY (1978), LITTLE MISS MARKER (1980). Her last feature was NO SMALL AFFAIR (1984, Columbia), and her last project was for HBO: "Into the Homeland" (1987).
