Marjoe (1972)
Producer and documentary filmmaker whose credits are MARJOE (1972), part documentary, part exposé, which follows one-time child evangelist Marjoe Gortner on the "church tent" revivalist circuit, commenting on the showmanship of Evangelism and "the religion business" prior to the start of televangelism; and GIZMO (1977), a compilation of strange inventions from the 1930s through the 1950s. Smith also played the part of a TV commentator in George Romero's DAWN OF THE DEAD (1978).
