Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969)

Born in Philadelphia, PA. He developed the pilot for "The Monkees" TV series in 1966. Wrote and produced, alone and in collaboration, for films and television. Other notable credits include "The Danny Kaye Show" (1963, writer for 4 seasons), I LOVE YOU ALICE B. TOKLAS! (1968, writer & exec. producer), BOB & CAROL & TED & ALICE (1969, also producer; writer for TV series, 1973), ALEX IN WONDERLAND (1970, writer & producer), "Ethel Is an Elephant" (1980, TV movie, writer & producer) and the TV series "Mr. Merlin" (1981, writer & producer) and "Jennifer Slept Here" (1983, writer & producer).
