Born in Los Angeles, CA; educated at Chouinard Art Institute, Los Angeles. Started out as an illustrator for store adverisments and catalogues. She then worked as a sketch artist for other designers. Her artwork is highly treasured by collectors. Especially noted for her work on period films such as BONNIE AND CLYDE (1967) (her debut), Francis Ford Coppola's THE GODFATHER, PART II (1974), Peter Bogdanovich's NICKELODEON (1976) and Martin Scorsese's NEW YORK, NEW YORK (1977). Other notable credits include THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR, I LOVE YOU ALICE B. TOKLAS! and BULLITT (all 1968), THE ARRANGEMENT and THE REIVERS (both 1969), MYRA BRECKINRIDGE (1970), JOHNNY GOT HIS GUN (1971), MAME (1974), HEAVEN CAN WAIT and SAME TIME, NEXT YEAR (both 1978), THE JERK (1979), S.O.B. and HEARTBEEPS (Bernadette Peters' costumes) (both 1981), THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS (1982), RHINESTONE (1984), STELLA (1990), THE BUTCHER'S WIFE (1991), LEAP OF FAITH (1992), "The Last Don" (1997, TV mini-series), and I'M LOSING YOU and GOODBYE LOVER (both 1998).
