Fred Wolf began his career as an Inbetweener at Shamus Culhane Productions in the early 1950s. He was an animator at Bagdasarian Film Corp. on 1961's "The Alvin Show". He subsequently moved to Hanna-Barbera, and he was an animator on their feature, HEY THERE, IT'S YOGI BEAR (1964). At Murikami-Wolf Productions, he was producer, director and key animator of Harry Nilsson's "The Point" (1971, TV), and he directed THE MOUSE AND HIS CHILD (1977). Other notable credits include "Puff, the Magic Dragon" (1977-78, TV), OZ (1980), "The Wuzzles" (1985, TV), "Fluppy Dogs" (1986, TV), "Duck Tales" (1987-88), "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (1989-90), "Budgie the Little Helicopter" (1993-96, TV), "Zorro" (1997-98, TV) and "The Fantastic Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor" (1998, TV).
In 2005, Wolf was honored with the Animation Guild's Golden Award.
